No, not at all...unlike certain other kinds of plants, adenium seeds do not require a cold period of time to be able to germinate.

In a warm climate atmosphere, the seeds will deteriorate within a few weeks. Cold storage will help keep the seeds fresh and maintain viability for a long time.
