Okay, I just went back and looked at your link where it says "one flight from May to mid July".

I think that is related to how many broods a particular butterfly will have in a year or season and that will determine how many times they can migrate. So if a butterfly has just one brood per year, they will only migrate once a year. If they have more broods, there will be multiple migrations.
