Larry - I hope she listened. Mine did not do any bud building with it's first blooms ever in my garden. The edging was barely visible. I believe that is a high temp issue here in central Florida. But produced large blooms eventually. Though the scapes aren't as tall as registered, it is one of my taller scapes and very sturdy. I love this plant. The first few blooms looked like yours and then she started producing much larger and completely opened blooms. Mine is in a dry bed that I have to water frequently. It's been hot as hades here. She finished the scape blooms. Not sure if I will see re-bloom on her this year.
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters, compared to what lies within us.
