Yes, it has big leaves like a catalpa but I would have bought one of those, they are invasive, pretty but invasive. I do have a chitalpa but I have never seen a seed on it
I can almost bet that it is not a tree because we were moving to a smaller lot full of trees. That's not to say it wasn't mislabled.
