Muscadet is my favorite lily. I've been growing them for years but the rabbits love them too. They've been feasting on my Oriental and Asiatic Lilies regularly, so I decided to plant my new bulbs in pots this year. We have had a very dry Summer here in Michigan along with some extreme temperative changes - it's 94 degrees today - so I've probably had some days of underwatering and overwatering. And I'm sure I planted my lilies too close together. I've noticed darkening on the buds the past two weeks. The pots are in full sun. Finally got the first bloom today. Please take a look at the photos I took today and let me know if they are diseased or if perhaps it's the weather or something I've done?
