I'm not great at ID'ing these either, but please could you show us a picture of the whole plant in each case? Seeing the leaves, and relative size of the flowers to the leaves might help us a bit.

Are you growing these inside your house or outdoors? Houston is hotter in summer, and colder in winter than I have here, so a challenge for orchids.

If inside, bright indirect light would be good, and do your best to keep the humidity up while you run the a/c through the summer. If outdoors, keep them in the shade and as cool and breezy as possible until the temperatures are below 90 or so in the fall.
