Hi CS, I'm not so great at explaining things but I'll try.

When you want to include an image from the database to your post, for instance here on this thread that you've started; go to the database and find the photo you want to post, such as your lovely photo of Germander below:

American Germander (Teucrium canadense)
Uploaded by csandt

When I found your database photo I just highlighted and copied the url (beginning with http:) at the top of and then came back and pasted it here. You will only see the text/writing until you click on preview but once you click on preview or finished it should show up in your post.
