Background history:

'Square Dancer's Curtsy' is a evergreen diploid introduced in 2001 by Leon Payne. Leon and his wife, Paula, do their hybridizing at Paynes in the Grass Daylily Farm in Pearland, Texas. More information can be found on their website:

Square Dancer's Curtsy is an early to mid-season bloomer with possible re-bloom. There is a tet conversion available for this cultivar. It has earned the Honorable Mention: 2006 AHS award. It is pod and pollen fertile with 8 registered children: http://garden.org/plants/paren...
