We don't have them yet, knock on something, but I was looking at the new Brent and Becky catalogue, and saw this:

"We have been asked many times for suggestions on how to treat organically the Lily Beetle problem that some people experience in the northeast. We thank Carolyn, one of our customers for sharing this solution with us!

1. Hose the lilies down with water

2. Absolutely cover them with wood ashes, top and bottom of leaves covered

3. Wait 15 minutes

4. Hose off with water

5. Watch, if you see them again, do it again. She used this treatment twice last year and it really worked. "
