'Bonbini' is an excellent choice. I'm not sure what you climate is compared to lily grower Lynette Westfall of Valley K Lily Ranch in Canada, but it seems to me that OTs do well there with mulching, she is located 1/4 mile south of the scenic Battle River Valley, southeast of Camrose, Alberta, Canada. She's a great person to have as a reference in your climate, as would the folks at the Lily Nook.

We are warmer here and what I get here is pictured below. I'm sure you will find this lily most pleasing, I know I do.
