There is a tiny bit of fading on the three petal edges, but hardly noticeable. The dark color overall has faded towards yellow in this high heat. Now even the new buds opening have a lot more yellow.

These all came from seed that Connie hybridized and offered to anyone back on Dave's Garden in 2006. I hemmed and hawed about it since I had plenty of my own stuff to plant of all kinds, and why not let everyone who really wants them get them.? Finally, after a few weeks I caved, and I'm sure glad I did!
