Fortunately I have excellent starting material for my crosses, seeds from David Sims. I don't have to spend years of work to develop the perfect inflorescence. Unfortunately, Mr. Sims is not offering seeds at this time, leaving me to play with what I have on hand.

This year I am working on an F2 generation of his seed lot CT3-1 described as TPPA X TPPB, a cross between two pink picotee tetraploid trumpets. I have three different clones to that I can intermate. One of them is quite floriferous and I think I just may want to propagate that one this fall.

I will also do some more intermating of the pink edged yellow trumpets similar to Tropical Isle. I have several different clones from Sim's original cross plus a few from the F2 so plenty to play with without overpodding any one stem!
