Hi.

I live in Marin County, California and I have a plumeria that I love.
Some of its leaves are turning yellow and I am trying to understand
what it is trying to tell me. It is in a pot and I put it in the
garage in winter to let it go dormant. It has grown many leaves this
year since I have taken it outside when it started being warm. But I
started noticing the leaves turning yellow maybe three weeks ago or
so.

What is going on and what do I need to do to return my plumeria to
perfect health?

Other than yellowing of the leaves, the plant looks healthy. I water
it about once a week and it is in direct sunshine most of the day
starting at around 10:00 am.

I had another plumeria I watered more often and the trunk rotted so I
am afraid of overwatering this one; that is why I water it only about
once a week. Do I need to water it more often? Does it need more
fertilizer? (I have fertilized it twice so far this year with Miracle
Grow).

Thank you for guiding me; I appreciate it.
