We have had temps in the 90's last several days with only one downpour of rain which helped a lot really. I have 2 clumps i want to separate and line out for next year but am waiting for this heat to subside. You said lows around 65, tonights low supposed to be 80 here. Unusual for us but not unheard of. Sounds like you have great Daylily weather for the most part. Today i watched great morning blooms get pounded by the heat and seemed to have melted them by late afternoon. The only thing i can stand to do is water them because the humidity is so high it just zaps ones strength.
Good luck on your move and hope you enjoy.
Donald i really feel for you in Texas. Growing anything sounds like a challenge. My hats off to you for accepting that challenge because no matter where you call home, there is no place like it.
SO MANY DAYLILYS, SO LITTLE LAND
