Wow.. A buck and a half for a sack of soil.. I'm paying nearly ten..

I just use straight potting soil that I pick up at t he nursery. The type I get has perlite in it, and I've never had a drainage problem. I'm mixing about a teaspoon of bone meal in the soil just below where I spread the roots.
The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us.
