Neal ... you are starting with good soil before applying soil conditioner/ amendment ... is that true ? My soil in this garden is primarily subsoil which needs all the help I can give it. Do you think this product is worth the extra dollars ?

They are bringing it up here for the dang pot growers ! However, in a way that's good because we never used to be able to get anything up here. Most things have way too much peat in them which causes them to dry up like concrete in this hot and dry climate. In your experience, yes, I know you garden in a more humid climate, do you think it would help soil like mine ?
I'd rather weed than dust ... the weeds stay gone longer.
