Let's assume a positive attitude then & look forward to being able to recognize it in the future as it makes some kind of new foliage. :+) Do the leaves feel succulent? If so, probably a member of Crassulaceae family but I don't feel any more specific vibes than that. Maybe add a pic of what's left of the better looking leaf on the L?

Why do you suspect it's unhappy? Too dry, wet, hot, cold, got dropped, bitten, forgotten...? How long have you had it? Hard to say what kind of change might help encourage more signs of life, from just the pic.
