The whole discussion is futile, because the correct spelling is 'Cebenense'. The Latin ending -ensis for masculine and feminine nouns and -ense for neuter nouns means something like 'originating from'. Cebenense hence means: originating from the CĂ©vennes, a mountain chain in the Southern part of the Massif Central in France. Sempervivum nevadense has the same ending, it comes from the Sierra Nevada in Spain.
