Hello,
I planted a few sunflowers a couple of months ago. When they began to grow they were creeping along parallel to the ground. As the stems strengthened they stood upright. Gradually they began to move toward the ground again. Now i have about six 3'-4' sunflowers that are leafy and starting to flower growing along the ground.
Why are they doing this and not standing nice and tall? The stems are thick and stable; they're just running along the ground.
