I have Boysenberry which looks like this, the canes grow quite 'long' but the canes aren't prickly. It's a cross between blackberry, raspberry, dewberry and loganberry. The latter does have thorns. Fruits next year might help. It's a wonderful fruit but the raspberry beetle thinks so too, and it susceptible to rain damage so I rarely get any fruits worth eating.
