I am going to try grafting on to two of my A. somalense root stock. They are 8 months old now and very actively growing.

On one rootstock I will flat-graft a scion from my "Dutch Lady" seed-grown tree.

Her leaf nodes are closely stacked so I'm hoping to get more than one branch grow from the scion.

On the second rootstock I will do a wedge-graft using an apex stem from "Dutch Lady."

@RCanada Rick,
For the wedge-graft, you trim off part of the leaves, right? And after joining and wrapping the union with cellophane you place and secure a plastic bag over the entire scion, right?
