Lee Anne: Thank you for another great little article about the wonderful Gesneriad family of plants. The only "Gessie's" that I still grow are a couple of Chirita's and a Lipstick plant (Aeschynanthus). I have a teeny bit of the Streptocarpella left ... it was beautiful until about a week ago when I hung it in a backyard tree and the squirrel's got to it! Grumbling I repotted the chewed up bits that were left but it will be awhile before it's looking decent and blooming again. I can't seem to keep the larger Streptocarpus alive for long. I never could figure out why they didn't seem to thrive like the Streptocarpella.

Your African Violet 'Mac's Pizza Pizzacato' is really nice, I love the scalloped looking foliage on that one and the bloom is so pretty. It makes me think about buying and growing another African Violet or two! Big Grin

Thanks again for sharing great growing tips for these plants!
