Thank you for your comment. You are correct - the plant is not the Betel Leaf. Since there is no official common name for the plant in the English language people often call it "Wild Betel Leaf".

Looking at my comment, you will see that I wrote: "The use of the common name may cause this plant to be confused with Piper betle/Betel Pepper/Paan which is a climbing plant."
