Hi
We are buying a new build house (in the UK) and what will be the front garden is currently covered in a plant which looks like Himalayan Knotweed which it seems is an invasive species.
The attached photograph shows the plant and the area of the garden. We would like to know if it is Himalayan Knotweed, and if yes, how difficult is it to control? The developers will turf the garden, however the garden borders a woodland area and we suspect it could come back easily?

Thanks in advance
L
