SOUTHERN PEAS = what some people generally refer to as "beans". Purple Hull peas, Cream Peas, Black-Eyed Peas, Zipper Cream Peas, Kidney Beans, Lady Cream Peas, Rattlers,

GREEN PEAS = English Peas, those little green, china balls that they make split pea soup out of, plus sugar snap peas, and snow peas.
