@Sooby, Now I'm getting more confused, as you suggestion, Sooby, as an Oregon Silverspot, looked also exactly as my unknown. Along side of it there was listed the Myrtle's Silverspot which also looked exactly alike. This info found in Google. I suppose now I have to look for specific characteristics or markings which make them different from each other. Oh dear, a lepidopterist, I am not. I'll keep this open ended till I find the definite name. Attached is a photo of the topside pattern and coloration of the beautiful little creature.
