I just found one, called a bone-building tea. When I was in my late 50's, I had a bone scan test done and they found I had low bone density. I was diagnosed with Osteopenia with a test score almost high enough to be Osteoporosis. So I take medication, as well as calcium and vitamin D supplements. Wish I had known earlier that I had this problem. I already take the Nettle and Red Clover in my tea...will have to look for the other ingredients.
Bone-Building Tea
Oatstraw
Nettle leaf
Dandelion leaf
Raspberry leaf
Red Clover, flowering tops
Horsetail shoots
1. Boil one quart of water
2. Turn off the heat. Blend herbs in equal parts.
3. Add 4 tablespoons of the herb blend
4. Cover and steep 30 to 60 minutes, then strain. Drink 3 to 4 cups a day.
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White
Integrity can never be taken. It can only be given, and I wasn't going to give it up to these people. Gary Mowad
