Laurie, Aglaonema plants don't need a terrarium. I have a few just sitting around the house that do really well. I don't have a watering "schedule" and if I happen to notice that the soil appears a bit dry then I give them a little water; I find them to be quite drought tolerant. Regarding planting an Aglaonema in a terrarium ... it will need to be a large/tall terrarium because it will grow out of the top quite quickly. I have an old 45 gal aquarium that I turned into a terrarium a few years ago and I haven't been able to keep the lid on the top because of the Aglao growing out the top of the terrarium. I've been saying for quite awhile that I need to either cut the plant back again or take it out and plant something more manageable in it's place.
