Hi,

I've had this plant for six years now, and so far no one has been able to tell me what it is called. I think it is a very special plant.

It has a bulb from which there grows a single stem. At the end of the stem there are 4 oval shaped hairy leaves. Above the leaves there are red flowers growing in a ring. The stem lives for half a year or so, then breaks of. Then a new stem will grow in the same way. Always four big leaves. The images included show the leaves that are drying up. So the stem is about to break of. I'm putting this on here now because i'm afraid no new stem will grow. In the close up picture from the top you can see the dark spots where the flowers used to be.

Thanks in advance
