I've had Kansas Kitten for a number of years now. It is a moderate increaser, which I like. The flower does fade on hot sunny days. I have it in FULL sun. For me, the blooms often are spotty. It has its good days and bad days. Kind of a "bad hair day" I guess. I've never paid attention to what the weather was when it happens. I'll have to do that next year. It happens so often that I even considered getting rid of it but it is so very beautiful when it's having a good day. In fact, I've even picked off and tossed new blooms if I know someone will be visiting my gardens that day.

Here is a good day - you can see just a teeny-tiny bit of spots on it.
