You know, all the years we have canned at my house, I've never had a spoiled jar. I broke one in the canner for the first time this year when I was doing banana peppers, but that's the first time ever.

If you have enough tomatoes, make ketchup. I did that for the first time this year, and HOLY COW the flavor is SO MUCH BETTER than store-bought!
Working on pizza sauce now, I still have 2 more bushels of tomatoes in the garden waiting for me.............
