I went out and counted bud scars on DW, and it averaged out to about 13 buds per (rebloom) scape. That doesn't sound like much, but the reality here is that we never get high bud counts, ever. Given our climate, our latitude, the drought and water restrictions, and the fact that this is a large-flowered daylily, I think that 13 buds is okay, especially as most scapes on the clump rebloomed. Just giving this information to fill out last night's report...
