Rabbits foot ferns do not like to dry out at all. If mine gets even slightly dry, the fronds lay flat, then turn brown if I'm not paying attention. Yours looks like it's coming back in a nice form!

One thing I learned from having ferns, is to use those glass watering balls. If I ever think there will be a time I might miss watering and the ferns will dry too much, I stick the watering ball in as a safeguard, even if I'm around the house and just busy.

And it's best to test the watering balls prior to any type of extended absence so you know what the outcome will be when you return home. I was so thankful my husband told me to do that, as a couple of the watering balls allowed the water to quickly run out, so I knew not to use the cheap ones- only buy the good ones.
