Salvia gregii is one of the "must have" plants here in North Central Texas.
It blooms repeatedly through the growing season if given a haircut after each wave of bloom.
It is one of the last plants to go to sleep in the fall, thereby providing nectar for migrating butterflies, hummers and many other insects.
It is very easy to propagate from cuttings and it allows you to increase your stock with no problem.
My favorite color is the red, but it comes in many other colors and they are all lovely.
