There is a local deli/pub in McDonough that has agreed to let me spruce up their "beer garden". Currently there are 2 large wine barrel type planters (with dead plants in them). I would like to plant some easy care plants that would last through the fall, or longer. Ideas? The planters are in full sun, Zone 7b, hot & dry. I was thinking sedum, but that may attract bees, which might not be the best idea around food & drink. Since they let the other plants die, I'm thinking drought tolerant would be a good idea. There is an entryway that would support climbers also. Any opinions and advice is welcome!
