I know I'm late to the game, but do you have any seeds left?
Even if you don't, I'm glad to see that you are using the name Asclepias curassavica 'Silky Gold'.
I did a search here on ATP and it resulted in Butterfly Weed (Asclepias curassavica 'Silky Gold'). I thought, nyuha. Butterfly Weed is A. Tuberosa. I was looking to post a picture of my A. Curassavica 'Silky Gold' covered with aphids. (It was fun when I took the hose and blew those little boogers away.)
Now I don't know what to do. Maybe just keep my mouth shut and not post the picture. I'm new at this so I don't really know what I'm doing anyway.

Have you heard this trick? Allegedly you can put the seed pods in a paper bag with a small hole cut in the bottom. Shake it up and the seeds will come out with only a little fluff. Haven't tried it myself. Made a mess instead. I've also heard that goldfinches like to use the fluff for their nests. Just throwing out a few little tidbits in case you hadn't heard them.
