I love my Pontiac Reds, plant at least [2] 100' rows; wait to plant until the last full moon of June to avoid Colorado potato beetles, along with crop rotation. I notice the wetter the season the more/bigger the potato. Variety matters, too. Try different varieties, you may find very interesting results.
