Excellent suggestion. I was able to purchase a bunch of the bread trays and they are invaluable in and around the garden.
Here I use one to assist is sifting compost.

Here is one bread tray which is the perfect size for a gate for a small kitchen garden.

I set a bread tray on top of a concrete mixing tub when I am re-potting plants so that none of the soil will be lost.
