I do like plants that have blooms that as they fade tend to dry up and just fall off. I do have a few that require, almost demand, to be deadheaded because of the large mass of thick slimy blooms they leave behind. Those type blooms stain my hands with their bleeding colors. It is amazing just how messey and how much moisture some daylily blooms retain while others are just a dry paper like material that just falls away.
Also never thought of it!
