Sans are my favorite but very fussy if not experienced with them. Change the soil they come in to a more gritty mix so water is not an issue. Keep from drafts and cold. Start with the all green types and progress up to the variegated ones. Best start is at the big box stores. Haworthias are also a nice start. Small and as long as you don't over water them, very tuff plants.
