You are right, we need a search bar on the home page.
I tried searching the forums and the Plant Database.
If I clicked the magnifying glass icon, then absolutely nothing happened.
If I pushed the "enter" key on my keyboard then it would run the search.
I'm guessing that it is a bug that Dave will fix as soon as he wakes up, like usual.
