Background history:
'Flutterbye' is a dormant diploid introduced in 1981 by Frank Childs. No other info on this hybridizer except that he has registered a total of 389 cultivars.
Flutterbye is an early bloomer with possible re-bloom. It has earned the Honorable Mention: 1987 AHS awards. It is pod and pollen fertile with currently 21 registered children:
