I'd leave it be, Penny and then if a really cold spell of weather threatens, just take some cuttings inside. They root very easily wherever a leaf node touches the ground. So just stick some cuttings in a little pot of potting soil, and you'll have new plants as insurance. It's a very easy and resilient plant.
