I was a teenager in the 60's and I loved the Beatles, Otis Redding, Janis Joplin, the Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder and many artists of that era. My husband is a big fan of the Beach Boys and Jimmy Buffet, neither of which are my cup of tea but I tolerate when he plays that music.
I enjoyed music of the 30's and 40's because my mom listened to it a lot, she was a huge Sinatra fan. I loved the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac, popular in the 70's. Nowadays, even at the age of 68, I listen to a lot of different Genre of music and I even enjoy some of the current younger artists; Bruno Mars, Farrell, Sam Smith, Pittbull. Sometimes it's the instrumentals and the beat though, rather than lyrics.
