Peacelily is a low light plant i.e. don't sit it in full sun on the windowsill. I water mine only when it wilts and it sits in my dining room but not near bright sun . Mine is also in the same soil it has been in for 5 years .....every year or so I divide it and give some away .......I repot in the same soil , this allows the plant roots a little more space .
