Laurie, I think a specific thread in any forum you want is perfect for topics like this one. Some of the forums have off-topic threads that cover everything and anything, some have individual threads for fun stuff. Last year, the Iris forum had an adventure story using names of Iris as the characters. Pretty flexible folks around here.
