Blues and Classic Rock for me. Random favorites: Stevie Ray Vaughn, Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, Janis Joplin, Tom Waits, Muddy Waters, Bob Dylan. John Mellencamp makes good music but I don't like his attitude. Can't beat the lyrics of John Hiatt. Indigo Girls for great harmony. Bob Marley has a special spot in my heart. Rita Coolidge has a lovely pure voice, as did Eva Cassidy. Lin, I also grew up doing chores to my mom's music - pretty sure I know all the words to every song Dean Martin ever sang. I love listening to Pandora with just a couple selected artists, then see what else they come up with. I don't care at all for Country music - drives me right out of the feed store (I keep telling them if they would turn it down I might stick around and spend more money...) Fun thread!
