And I'd venture a guess that Josebaca is correct. Your photos don't appear to have plantings that these provide moisture for. I'd ask your real estate agent for sure but in parts of Texas they put soaker hoses around the foundation to prevent it cracking. I just had major work done to mine due to a cracked foundation.
