I had my eyelid surgery on Monday. I look like someone beat my head with a sledge hammer! My upper and lower lids are sutured and swollen almost shut and both eyes are purple. I've got my Halloween costume already! I have to put Bacitracin ointment on the suture lines and it melts into my eyes and makes everything blurry, so can't really read a book. I have the font on my computer HUGE to see this.

I'm also not allowed to exercise this week, or lift, etc., and I have to sleep sitting up. Haven't had much appetite though as I'm mostly lying in bed listening to TV. (can't really see it) or sleeping from the narcotics.

I made some vegetarian veggie soup last week and froze some. We'll have that for lunch. And dinner will be chicken marsala that I made last week and froze, too.

I sure hope this is worth it.
