Aren't they the cutest? And, so much fun! Lovey dubby I love acorns too! Some friends who live about a mile from me have many huge Live Oak trees all over their property and they complain every year when the acorns fall. We have two scrub or sand oaks near the driveway and I love when the little acorns fall and the sound of the crunch when you walk on them.
~ I'm an old gal who still loves playing in the dirt!
